Barbara Jean Ferrell

Barbara Jean Ferrell, 76 of Ridgeville, South Carolina, wife of Stephen Ferrell passed away on Monday, August 28, 2023.

Born on September 12, 1946 in Charleston, Barbara was a daughter of the late Joseph Eugene Tudor and Nettie Mae O’Neal Tudor.

Barbara loved her mountain trips and family gatherings. She considered anyone she met as family and enjoyed inviting them into her home. Barbara’s doors were always open.

Barbara is preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Willie, and Dee; and a brother, Lonnie.

Barbara is survived by her husband; daughters, Michelle Nixon (Jeff English) and Tracie Fields (Steven); son, David Tobias; stepsons, Michael Ferrell, William Ferrell, and Scott Ferrell (Christina); sisters, Annette and Bernice; brothers, Benny and Vance; grandchildren, Heather, Kevin, Brandon, Robbie, Zeth, Sierra, Vanessa, Briannah, Dessire, and Collin; great grandchildren, Madison, Easton, Clark, Kason, and Jessica; and her extended family.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 2, 2023 from 1-3PM at McAlister- Smith Funeral and Cremation, 869 St. James Ave., Goose Creek. A Memorial Service will follow at 3PM.
