Barbara Ann Trotter

Barbara A Trotter, 84, of Concord, NC, passed away on Wednesday, October 24, 2018.

She was born on March 3, 1934 in Greensboro, NC, daughter of the late Hazel Moser Snider and the late Wavely William Snider.

Besides her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Trotter; her sister, Doris Faye Hanner; her brother, William "Bill" Snider and her grandson, Bradley Trotter.

She is survived by her sons: Mark Trotter (Heather) of Concord, NC and Mike Trotter (Debi) of Round O, SC; her brother, Frank Snider of Asheboro, NC; her granddaughters: Tracie Tackett of Ridgeville, SC... and Caroline Evans of Concord, NC; her grandsons: Jeremy Trotter of Phoenix, AZ and Aaron Evans of Concord, NC; and her great grandchildren: Micah and Cason Tackett, and Ethan and Noah Trotter.

Barbara was known for her catering and cooking at Highland Park Baptist Church. Barbara was a devout Christian who firmly believed that Christ was the reward of her life. Romans 14:8 "For if we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord. So then, whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord's." Her family is finding comfort in the thought that Barbara danced at the sight of Jesus as she passed through the gates of Heaven, and that she is rejoicing with those that passed before her.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 3, 2018 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with service to follow at 12:00 PM, at Highland Park Baptist Church, 6211 Murray Drive, Hanahan, SC 29410. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, 604 Fort Johnson Road, James Island, SC 29412.
