Austin Brian O'Dell, 19, of Goose Creek, South Carolina, passed away on March 26, 2019.
He was born on December 16, 1999 in Tampa, Florida, son of Paula O’Dell and Brian O'Dell. Austin loved his family, friends and music. He also loved the television show How I Met Your Mother and watched the entire series at least 5 times! Austin touched everyone he met and he is impossible to forget.
He is survived by his parents, Brian and Paula; his brother, Joshua O’Dell of Goose Creek, SC; his siblings, Jeffery Ryland and Kinsley Ryland of North Charleston, SC; his paternal grandparents, Jay and Jane O’Dell of North Charleston, SC; and his maternal grandparents, Hazel and Thomas Barnes of Lakeland, FL, and Peter and Alberta Wright of Daleville, AL; he is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
The family will receive friends for a gathering on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at 3:00 PM at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home, 869 St. James Avenue, Goose Creek, SC 29445. Immediately following will be a memorial service from 3:00-4:00PM in the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
