Ashley Vercruysse

Ashley Allison Vercruysse, 40, of Rembert, SC, passed away on Monday, March 11, 2024. 

Born on March 22, 1983 in North Charleston, SC, Ashley was the daughter of Joan Annette Woodruff Young and the late Marshall Young. 

Ashley was a very active volunteer with her children's schools.  She was a housewife and stay at home mother.  She was a very loving and caring wife and mother.  

Ashley is preceded in death by her father. 

Ashley is survived by her husband, James Vercruysse; her sons, Daemein Powers and Landin Vercruysse; her daughter, Zoey Vercruysse; her mother, Joan Annette Young; her sister, Michelle Borkowski; her brother, Todd Young; and several aunts, uncles, and nephews. 

The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 17, 2024, from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM at McAlister-Smith Funeral & Cremation, 869 St. James Ave., Goose Creek, SC 29445. 

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Sunday, March 17, 2024, at McAlister-Smith Funeral & Cremation in Goose Creek. The burial will immediately follow the service at Plantation Memorial Gardens, 3345 South Live Oak Dr., Moncks Corner, SC 29461. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Rafting Creek Elementary School, 4100 SC 261, Rembert, SC 29128.
