Ashleigh Elizabeth McWilliams

Ashleigh Elizabeth McWilliams, 33, of Charleston, SC, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, July 15, 2024.

Born on March 7, 1991, in Brunswick, ME, Ashleigh was the daughter of Teisha Gagnon Lohan and Shawn Lohan.

Ashleigh graduated from Messalonskee High School in Oakland Maine. She went on to achieve her Bachelor of Laboratory Science from Armstrong University in Savannah, GA. She was employed by Charleston Veteran’s Hospital in Charleston, SC. Previous to that, she worked at the Beaufort Naval Hospital where she met wonderful friends and colleagues.

Ashleigh is survived by her mother, Teisha Lohan of Belgrade ME; father, Shawn Lohan of Clyo, GA; daughter, Samantha McWilliams; siblings: Jacob Lohan (Emily) of Winthrop ME; Valarie O’Halloran ( David ) of Ellsworth, ME; Holly Kutepov (Alex) of Los Angelas, CA; Nicole Lohan (Ryan) of Randolph ME; and grandparents: Brent Gagnon, Diana Gagnon, Beatrice Labbe, Barbara and Dick Worthley. She is also survived by her many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and wonderful friends.

Samantha describes her mother as kind, beautiful, intelligent and the best mom ever. She will miss her very much.

Family and friends are invited to gather on July 27th from 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm for a Celebration of Ashleigh's Life at 112 Wheelstone Way, Guyton GA 31312.

A second celebration will be held in her home state of Maine - location and date to be announced at a later time.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to GoFundMe which will raise funds for her daughter Samantha online at Support Samantha's Future in Ashleigh's Memory
