Arthur Robert Fournier, 83, of Daniel Island, husband of Margaret McKee Fournier, entered into eternal rest on December 2, 2021, surrounded by loved ones.
Born on April 4, 1938, in Chicago, IL, Arthur was son of the late Ann Fournier and Arthur Fournier.
Arthur was a graduate of Political Science from the University of Illinois.
He was active in politics and served several offices in that regard.
He served as a Captain in the United States Army.
Besides his wife, Arthur is survived by his son, Arthur (Colleen) of Naperville, IL, Jeanette Virden (Gregory) of Charleston, SC, seven grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
The service will be held at Southminster Presbyterian Church in Glen Ellyn, IL on Thursday, December 16, 2021, at 11:00am. The burial will be held at Bethesda Cemetery in Justice, Illinois on December 18, 2021.
