Anita Marie O'Donnell

Anita Marie O'Donnell, 91, of Mount Pleasant , SC, passed away on December 10, 2018.
She was born on December 4, 1927 in Gary, IN, daughter of Margaret Driscoll and Dr. Desmond McGuire.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas O'Donnell of Mount Pleasant, SC; children: Kevin, Sean, Brian and Patrick; grandchildren: Brighid, Brennan, Breene, Kelly, Cody, Colleen, Christopher, Darby, Ellis and Oliver; and great-grandchildren: Eloise, Harriett, Marleigh, Murphy, Sienna, Oliver and Harper.
Anita was an avid tennis player and musician. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Trinity College in Washington, DC. She was an elementary and middle school music teacher and the music director for a number of churches. She has been the music director for the Franke Chorus in Mount Pleasant, SC. She was the recipient of the 2018 Volunteer of the Year Award by Leading Age South Carolina for contributions to the residents and church of Franke at Seaside.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 14, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Franke at Seaside, Rodenberg Chapel.
