It is with great sorrow that the family of Angela F. Wasden, 52, announces her peaceful passing on November 21, 2020.
Born on August 30, 1968 in Hampton, Virginia, Angie found her passion working in retail sales, most recently at Michael's Craft Store.
She is lovingly survived by her mother Sandra Wasden, sister Marcia Wasden, Goddaughter Jestine Skee, extended family members John and Abigail Skee, Christopher Briggs, and her dog-nephew Oliver. She is predeceased by her father Charles Wasden.
Angie was a proud Navy daughter who moved around with her family up until settling in Charleston, South Carolina during her middle school years. After high school graduation, she attended Baptist College where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree with a focus on education. She found that what she truly enjoyed, however, was working in retail, helping customers with a smile on her face and in her voice. It allowed her to utilize her eternal kindness and optimism. She was an avid collector of Breyer horses which was exemplified by over 30 years of Kentucky Horse Park’s Breyerfest attendance, her favorite time of year. She was a voracious reader and constant crafter. Her favorite hobby was spending time with family and friends, while always smiling and laughing.
At this time, due to Covid-19, no service is planned. A private family gathering will be planned at a later time. Expressions of sympathy are encouraged and welcomed via online submission at

In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes memorial donations to Kentucky Horse Park as an expression of sympathy:
