Amelia Anne Jochims, 62 of Hardeeville, SC, entered into rest on Sunday, February 5, 2023.
Born on February 12, 1960 in Aiken, SC, she was a daughter of the late Mary Anne Langdale Vrana and Philip Vrana.
Amelia was a plant enthusiast, loved pottery, stained glass, and enjoyed all aspects of the arts. She was a wonderful mother to her children and those she took in and adopted. Amelia enjoyed volunteering and helping anyone who needed it. You could always find her donating her time anywhere from soup kitchens to animal shelters. Amelia traveled the world and never met a stranger. She touched the hearts of many people.
Amelia is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Anne Vrana.
Amelia is survived by her father, Philip Vrana; Children: Windy Underwood(Chris), Joseph Jochims, James Jochims (Jessie), Nathaniel Jochims and Amelia Jochims(Ben) ; Grandchildren: Windy Nicole Underwood; Scott Underwood; Liam Jochims, Emma Jochims, Jaxon Jochims; and Siblings: Calvin Vrana(Linda), Laura Simmons(Boyd), Rebecca Hipol (Phil)
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to family to assist with funeral costs. Additional funds will be donated to charity in the memory of Amelia Jochims.
A memorial will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at The Rock Church-Aynor Campus, 725 South Main Street, Aynor, SC 29511
