Alwyn M. Byrd

Alwyn M Byrd, 88 of Goose Creek, South Carolina, passed away on Monday, September 19, 2022.

Alwyn was born on January 22, 1934 in Lakeview, SC.  Alwyn was a son of the late Hessie Byrd (Page) and William Byrd.

Alwyn served 28 years in the United States Navy.  He was loved by many in the Goose Creek area and will truly missed.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, Sunday, 25th of September, 2022, from  6:00 PM -  8:00 PM at McAlister-Smith Funeral and cremation, 869 St. James Avenue in Goose Creek, South Carolina. 

The service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, September 26, 2022 at McAlister-Smith Funeral and Cremation - Goose Creek, 869 St. James Avenue in Goose Creek, South Carolina. The burial will be held, immediately following the service at Plantation Memorial Gardens at 3345 S Live Oak Drive, Moncks Corner, South Carolina.
