Alice Bertino Sinclair, 96, of Goose Creek, passed away at home, Friday, June 2nd, 2017.
Born in Geneva, NY and attended Geneva High School. She worked as a seamstress for Timely Clothes, helped manage the family grocery store and later served as director of a nursing facility for the Veterans Hospital (Canandaigua, NY). She resided in Ocala, Fl for many years before moving to Goose Creek, SC. As a life-long dancer, she loved square dancing, ball room dancing and was a member of the Ocala Rockettes and volunteer at Shriner women’s organizations.
Alice is survived by her husband, George Sinclair, her children, Elizabeth Melms, Robert Bertino and Anthony Bertino, five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
She was predeceased in death by her six siblings, Susan Augustine, Angelo Tiballi, Anthony Tiballi, Nicholas Tiballi, Emma Gillespie and Vincent Tiballi and her spouse, Joseph Bertino.
A funeral service will be held, Thursday, June 8, 2017 at 6:30 pm at MCALISTER-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, GOOSE CREEK CHAPEL
The family will receive friends prior to service from 5:00 pm until 6:30 pm in the funeral home.
