Alfred Castle Olivetti

Alfred Castle Olivetti, 73, of Mt. Pleasant, SC entered into eternal rest with his family by his side on Wednesday, September 30, 2015. He was born on Sunday, September 13, 1942 in Kansas City, MO to the late Mrs. Rosamond Olivetti and the late Mr. Dino Olivetti. Alfred graduated Colby College, was a retired Major of the U.S. Air Force, and a long time member of Christ Church of Mt. Pleasant, SC. He was very active in the College of Charleston Italian Association, and also liked to volunteer at the Mt. Pleasant Senior Citizen Center. Alfred taught computers for over ten years at Septima P. Clark Corporation Academy. He enjoyed gardening, flying and spending time with his grandchildren. His family remembers him as a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Connie Olivetti, of Mt. Pleasant, SC; daughter, Jaffray Kim McMorrow (Stephen), of Las Vegas, NV ; sons, Jerry Dean Olivetti (Jennifer), of Wellesley, MASS and Marc Thomas Olivetti, Mt. Pleasant, SC; four grandchildren, Posy, Danielle, Miles and Bianca; brothers, David Olivetti and Philip Olivetti; and many loving friends. A Funeral Service will be held at Christ Church of Mt. Pleasant, 2304 N Hwy 17, Mt Pleasant, SC 29466 on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at 1:00 PM with Father Ted Duvall officiating. Burial in churchyard cemetery to follow with military honors.
