Alejandrina De Guzman Andrada, 99, of Goose Creek, SC, entered into eternal rest on April 05, 2021, surrounded by her family.
Born on September 05, 1921 in Gattaran Cagayan, Philippines, Alejandrina was a daughter of Andres De Guzman and Ana Cabildo De Guzman.
Alejandrina, was a very devout Roman Catholic and spent much time in prayer. She came to the United States in 1979 from the Philippines where she lived with her only daughter and son-in-law in Chicago to help raise her grandchildren. And in 1998 relocated to Goose Creek, SC. Alejandrina was a loving mother and grandmother.
Alejandrina became a widow at the young age of 27 but went on to raise her daughter on her own. Surviving are Alejandrina's daughter Teresita Albano (Rosephil) of Goose Creek, SC. Grandchildren: Phil Kenneth Albano (Aimee) of San Diego, CA, Kathleen Morales of San Diego, CA, Jonathan Albano of Chicago, IL. Great-Grandchildren: Jordan Albano, Jazmin Morales, Ryan Albano, and Kylie Morales. Nieces and Nephews from New York, Washington, California and the Philippines.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 8, 2021 from 5:00pm to 7:30pm at the McAlister-Smith Funeral Chapel located at 869 St James Ave, Goose Creek, SC 29445.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 510 St James Ave, Goose Creek, SC at 11:00am. The burial will be held at Dorchester Memorial Gardens, 11000 Dorchester Rd, Summerville, SC following the Mass.
