Albert Richard Robison

Albert Richard Robison Jr., son, brother, and Navy veteran, passed away peacefully in Charleston, South Carolina on April 27, 2024, at the age of 71. Born on December 11, 1952, in Charleston, SC, Albert was the son of the late Albert and Lela Calais Robison.

Coming from a large and loving family, Albert was one of seven siblings - Steve, Bill, Gordon, Grace, Percella, and Theresa. He pursued a fulfilling career as an electrician in the US Navy, where he dedicated himself to service and became a respected Chief before retiring. Albert's time in the Navy held a special place in his heart, and he maintained those connections by being a member of the local American Legion Post on James Island for many years.

With his charm and quick wit, Albert had a way of touching the lives of all those around him. His warm presence and sense of humor will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

A service to celebrate and honor Albert's life will be held on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at 7 pm; McAlister-Smith Funeral and Cremation, 347 Folly Road, Charleston, SC.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project at woundedwarriorproject.org.
