Alan Richard Kramitz

Alan R Kramitz, age 62, of Goose Creek, SC, passed away peacefully on June 10, 2021, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Staten Island, NY, on May 22, 1959, to Victor and Florence Kramitz. Besides his wife, Jinny Kramitz, Alan is survived by Kelsey Philyaw and Daniel, Morgan Gooding and Junior Brown, and Garrett Gooding. His beloved grandchildren Emmalyn, Marcelina, and Callie. He is also survived by his brother Vic Kramitz of LaJolla, CA, his niece Kaitlin and nephew Steven; and Sister Keryn Kulbacki and James of Fort Myers, FL; his niece Sara, nephew Mark, and nieces Krista Madden and Megan Pierce. Lastly, he is survived by his dear loving cousins Kim Bray and Marc, and Vicki Rigsby and Thom. Alan was preceded in death by his parents, Uncle Bobby Kramer and Sister Tracey Pierce.

Alan proudly served his country and retired from the US Navy. He then served his local community and retired from the North Charleston Police Department. He was an avid fisherman who loved his friends and family greatly.

The family will receive friends on June 13, 2021, from 5:00 pm-7:00 pm at McAlister-Smith, 869 St. James Ave, Goose Creek, SC.

The service will be held on June 14, 2021, at 10:00 am at Peace Presbyterian Church, 174 Londonderry Rd, Goose Creek, SC.

The burial will be held at 2:00 pm at Beaufort National Cemetery, 1601 Boundary St, Beaufort, SC.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Alan's memory may be sent to the Wounded Warrior Foundation or Police Benevolence Foundation.
