Adam Scott McKenna

Adam McKenna died on Thursday, March 14, at Trident Hospital, North Charleston, where he was a patient for several days. He resided in Goose Creek. He was born March 8, 1990, in Florence SC, and lived most of his life in Mt. Pleasant. He attended Wando High School. He is the father of Harper Rose McKenna and was a long-term companion to Erin Miller, also of Goose Creek.  

Adam was a long-time employee of Orlando’s Pizza on Daniel Island and Mt. Pleasant. His coworkers recall his mischievous nature, warm grin, and sense of humor. He enjoyed sports, including soccer, and video games.  

Along with his daughter, Adam is survived by his loving parents, Dennis and Renee (Knight) McKenna; brother, Ryan; and sister, Rebekah. Adam is the maternal grandson of Edith Knight and the late Ronald Knight, both of Florence. He has several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents James and Luinda McKenna of Providence, RI.  

A service is planned for Saturday, March 23, 2024, at Holy Cross Church on 2520 Middle Street, Sullivan Island at 11:30 AM. Family visitation and refreshments will follow the service.
