Aaron Jeffery Swoyer

Aaron Jeffery Swoyer, 26, of Goose Creek, passed away July 7, 2014. Born in Charleston, he is the son to Jeffery Swoyer and Sally Dixon McElvogue. Aaron graduated from Stratford High School, where he played baseball and attended Trident Technical College, majoring in Criminal Justice. He is a member of the S.C. Army National Guard and Detention Officer with Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office. Aaron loved to be outdoors hunting and on the lake fishing. He is survived by his parents, Sally McElvogue of Goose Creek and Jeffery Swoyer and wife Kellie of Goose Creek; two brothers, Mason Swoyer and Logan McElvogue, both of Goose Creek; grandparents, Anne and Bob Murton of Goose Creek and Louise Davis of Goose Creek; girlfriend, Amanda Hill. Aaron is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. He is predeceased by his grandfather, Richard Davis. Funeral service will be held Friday, July 11, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. in MCALISTER-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, GOOSE CREEK CHAPEL. The family will receive friends prior to service from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
