Joyce Rowen Zimmer, 77, of James Island, wife of 42 years to Michael John Zimmer who preceded her in death in 2013, entered into eternal rest on December 6, 2020 after a long health battle.
Born on October 21. 1943, in Rensselaer, Indiana, Joyce was the daughter of Joseph and Lucille Rowen.
Joyce graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Business from Gardner-Webb College.
Besides her sister Carolyn (Arizona), Joyce is survived by her 4 children; Jean Moua (Savang) Tennessee. Ginger Snook, Charleston, SC, Janine Gibson (Dwayne) Marion, NC, Ron Zimmer, Marion, NC; her 7 grandchildren, Derek Burleson (Danielle), Pamela Buskirk (Dan), Heather Snook, Ross Gibson (Savannah), Jasmine Gibson, Michael Zimmer (Heather), Bailey Zimmer and 7 great grandchildren.
The family will hold a memorial service in the near future in NC.
